Dr. Jay Greenspan is a pediatrician and neonatologist at Nemours/ A.I. duPont Hospital for Children and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He is professor of pediatrics at Jefferson and is Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Thomas Jefferson and Nemours. He has done research in many areas of neonatal care with a specialty in neonatal lung diseases and, most recently, he has expanded his research to the wider pediatric population. He works on improving access to care, improving quality and the patient care experience, and reducing cost of healthcare while improving value. He is also passionate about education and currently runs a large conference called Hot Topics in Neonatology and edits the free educational website www.Nicuniversity.org. Dr. Greenspan remains an active clinician in the intensive care nursery while running a large pediatric department in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. |
